This card, Howie Long, Shannon Sharpe and Urlacher are going to be the ULs everyone will be pulling and complaining about when they have enough tokens to complete the set.

Theme Diamonds 2 looks a lot like a watered down version of last year's MVP program. It was the same thing last year for MVPs where you had to put not only team specific elite cards into the set, but Team Builders cards and tokens to get the MVP cards.    Looks like there may be no Team Builders cards to boost team chemistry this time, which is too bad.  There were some high elites that could start on theme teams and tons of Team Builder elites that added chems to back up positions. The MVP cards were 97 OVR too.  These are all 95 OVRs.   Many Theme Diamond cards looked obsolete on release. Maybe you can power them up and slide them into start on a 50/50 theme team, but outside of that, they just don't look that good.    EA does get credit for going into the vault and bringing out some fan favorites who have been out of Madden for years though. It's a mixed bag.

I bet EA allows powered up cards to go into those end of the year binder clearing sets like Rookie Premier or Summer Blockbusters (if that comes back).  Once EA starts talking and hyping up Madden '21, they'll roll out sets to dump all those powered up cards that topped out at 94-97 OVR. People will put those cards into whatever set is available, take the L on the coin sink and be happy that they got an extra RP or 2 for '21.  With EA, look at the past and you can pretty much predict the future.
