The problem with passing is the best WRs in the game are subpar compared to great defensive players. If they get touched they’re dropping it. If you throw to the flat on a blitz the QB throws the ball to where the HB turns all the way around d to catch it. Impeding all momentum, and preventing you from gaining that ten yards of open field ahead. Every DB/WR interaction is a pre determined animation. There are times where the WR will go straight into a defending an interception than high pointing or attempting to catch the 50/50 ball. There are several times a game when my possession catch anime simply won’t register. Has anyone had success running 2 WRs with abilities?

I may be in the minority in my thinking, but xfactors and abilities are great. Dickerson was really that good! He was actually OP in real life. Young was absolutely an escape artist. Lott actually put fear in WRs coming over the middle! He was the “enforcer” of the 80s 49ers team. The xfactor abilities highlights what made HOF or exceptional players so great. I hope they return for Madden 21.
