Lol some of you guys are way off base. I will note I have not used Vick or Lamar. Maybe I will get Vick to try him out.   1) Rodgers release is perfectly fine on the run. It’s always been quick for me and have had no issues. I just don’t plan on throwing cross body so maybe that is where the animation slows down. That’s cheesy af anyways.   2) He is near op with escape artist. Let’s say they do DE contain - there is space to squeeze through the tackle and guard if needed, get through quickly, and make a throw on the run. If they don’t, then you can roll out as normal outside the tackle and hit those throws. 3) I have RARE issues with him misfiring due to pressure. Always consistent in the pocket or outside of it. 4) Deep balls. One reason I love playing Vick, Wilson, etc is their release on these deep balls. You can get huge sacks against them if they roll out and plan to throw deep. Whatever quick throw animation you discussed seems negated on the run. Rodgers can roll out, flick his wrist, and hit Calvin Johnson in stride 60 yards down the field while avoiding the sack.
