Update #1: MH Credits are frozen for everyone. I'm in the process of importing all of your MH Credits to the new system.   Update #2: MH Credit totals have been imported to the new site. You can view your MH Credit balance on your profile on the new site. You can go directly to your profile link (ex. www.muthead.com/u/rocketz) or click on the profile icon on the nav bar: Update #3: You can now send and receive MH Credits on the new system. You can send a user MH Credits from their profile on the new site. The MH Credit migration is complete and MH Raffles will resume later this week. These forums will be locking later today, so you'll have to move to the new forums here: muthead.com/forums

Hey guys, we're targeting Tuesday 2/18 to start the forums and MHC migration to the new site (from old.muthead.com to muthead.com). If this is the first you're hearing about this, check out my last post for more details. The tl;dr is that the framework we used to write Muthead many years ago is going away so everything needed to be rewritten on a modern platform.   These forums will lock on Tuesday and all MH Credits will be frozen. The first priority is to migrate your MH Credit balances to the new site and unfreeze them. I'm hoping to have downtime on MH Credits limited to just an hour or two. Once things are back up and running, you'll be able to send and receive as normal on the new site. You will be able to access your MH Credits on the new site on your profile (ex. www.muthead.com/u/rocketz).   The following day, we'll begin migrating old forum posts starting with the most recent and working backwards. The whole process will take weeks, but the most relevant posts will be migrated the fastest.

We're likely going with the lightweight look you see for now, but we're talking about adding a nice tooltip that has all the stuff you're asking for that you're used to on the old forums. Search is hard. It's almost easier to just use Google, but I'll look into what's possible. This is just a test environment. The site nav isn't accurate, but we won't have a lot of the stuff on the old forums dropdown right away. I'm working on raffles first.

You can still do just about all the formatting you could do on the old site, you just have to use Markdown. Here's a guide on how it works: https://www.markdownguide.org/basic-syntax/
