I'll play Cap IGN: mschooff and I'll take Steelers. Theme team rosters, or not?

Quote from realitychek >> Quote from Mschooff >> Those stats aren't all that different given the sample size. Ummm. Ok. Yeah they are when you take into account the OVR and PWR difference, but whatever. We are talking 10% difference and more in some areas, but ok. Edit. And I just realized I mis-typed one above, so thanks! LOL.

Nothing's obviously changed. Don't think they've touched animations, but I see far fewer diving/rolling/ jumping catches than last year.

Quote from ncbeach20 >> Quote from Bouncer014 >> Key phrase is "on paper" though. These forums are littered with stories about cards that don't seem to play up to their attributes, as well as cards whose gameplay some people love and others hate for whatever reason. Player attributes? Lamar doesn't have the clutch trait for example...

You're probably just getting mostly Brady hate. But you're only getting 1 TAD with Brady. THA doesn't matter. And even if you don't scramble, a little more speed to drop back quicker and give your line time to get blocks can go a long way.

This shouldn't be that hard to do in any scheme. Outside runs with downfield blockers are what you need. Most coaches have some really good plays for this as well. Was about to ask what the Game Changers (Community reps to EA) had to do with this. Why you think they abandoned your cause when I don't think this was an issue they were looking at. But then I realized you mean the Game Changers MS - ie Tight Ends. Still not sure why they picked that name.

I've been mostly OK with how EA's done scheme cards this year. Dropping requirements to 8/12 was the magic pill that gives us more flexibility. On the other hand, EA decided that masters will all be guaranteed max power because it would be terrible to build one to get the 10 power version. I'm OK with normal masters being 1 scheme. You can not build that master, build it to sell, or roster the master and use an OOSslot. The CT cards that have been scheme select were nice, but unnecessary IMO. If you want to roster Lamar as the fastest QB in the game, you should be able to keep him OOS just fine. But a grandmaster, like the SB MVP set should probably be scheme select by similar logic to the max power masters.

Quote from doctorjsh >> There are some unexplained aspects of power and boosts (I think) that should be very easy to clarify if EA so chooses. For example, if I am maxed out at 99 THP and have a +5 OVR power advantage, my THP cannot increase past 99, right? What if my opponent has the QB mobility stat reducer which gives -4 THP? Does my THP stay at 99? Or since my THP could not go beyond 99, then a stat reducer applied, would my THP be 95? The order (if any) of how OVR and boosts are applied is important. Are all boosts added up at once, or is there an order where boosts are applied, then OVR power advantage?
