I feel like this is the SM Support Group. While many Vert, WC, and Spread guys have been lamenting all the “great” players SM has gotten this season, we really haven’t. Not that fit SM, at least. Run block, Impact Block, Strength. Those are the first numbers I look at for WR, TE, OL, and FB.  Yet, we get undersized fast WR, we get pass blocking OL, we get overlooked for FB. If EA keeps schemes next year, they seriously need create players that make sense for the scheme. NOTE: I am not advocating for schemes. I think they are dumb. Although, I do like the SM special skill.

I wonder if EA will be able to iron out this wrinkle.  If not, I’m going to have my lawyer send their lawyers a crease and desist letter. Seriously, though, I hope they can straighten this out.

Can’t address WC, but SM has multiple plays for off LT, off RT,  and up the middle. I’ve found that most defensive plans (and lineups) can limit 1 or maybe 2 of those three. But I haven’t come across an opponent that could handle all three types of runs. There are several SP and LP plays that are my bailouts if I find myself in a 3rd/4th and long.

Just a friendly reminder for EA that right now At FB we have:   96 Vert Odell 96 Spread Luke K 95 WC Kyle Juice and 93 SM Anthony Sherman   Not to mention that 97 TOTY Henry is WC.    SM needs blockers.

All stats are higher than Metcalf (except STR). I’m really looking forward to having Julio running downfield throwing monster blocks for me.

A leaguemate of mine bought a 99 Eli from the AH and can’t use it to EVO a 98 to 100. Is it because EA doesn’t allow EVO to 100 yet or is it something with Eli specifically?   Thanks for your help!

It would be nice if SM could get an actual SM WR. 90 Metcalf is the best blocking WR, but EA has been giving out 95+ players for awhile now. I want blockers.
