I did this twice and profited both times.  The 1730 pack is the way I went.  I used the higher 87+ guys in the set and sold or rerolled the others.   The price on a lot of the 80-86 dropped so much I just bought them out.  I had started with buying 4 96 OVR guys for around 215K each and did the solos on my main to grab a NAT Eifert twice and 2 different #2 and #3 NAT's.  Then I just rerolled all of that training until I had a few guys to sell so I could snipe some guys I needed.  On Saturday the price of the Diamonds tanked so I just QS them and rolled for the last guys I needed.  Took a LOT of time but walked away with NTL Culpepper and around 200K after recovering my initial 1.25Mill.    Highly recommend it if you have the time.  And patience to snipe a bunch of the guys.

Was thinking of farming this with a $1 million investment in training.  Seems to me NTL is down to around 1.3 Million on PS4 which means you sell and pocket 1.17 Million.  So on average every set you lose less than 37K you profit.     Right now the TD2 players all seem to be selling for around 180K on PS4 other than Mays 231K Cromarte 216K Wood 205K   Anyone under 194K you would quicksell for training and reroll.   The hope is obviously get lucky in the 1730 training packs to increase profit.  I don't recommend unless you have coins to blow as the odds may NOT be ever in your favor.

I don't mind the bundled player sales because you can see them in notifications if you want

so it is an easy 100K per account.  that seems fair enough!   I honestly didn't realize you could farm it, thought the sets were frozen all together.
