Yes I recommend doing it now, get it out of the way and it is done for the rest of the season.  It looks like it will take a couple days to acquire players from UL but all in all it looks to be a very promising program. I recommend playing as often as possible between now and when the next promo starts so you will have the resources to continue exchanging for banners without having to burn more stamina.

Speaking of bots, anyone else's phone start acting weird when matched against a bot. I always play with my phone charging and whenever I pull a bot it will start vibrating as if the charge connection opens and reconnects, it will give a device not supported message randomly. I never have this problem against regular opponents only when it is a bot.

I have been minimum top 1k each season and half of those in the top 500 depending on how much time I have to play it. This season I cannot even get up a step in elite 3. This morning I played 2 top 50 players, kicked back to gold 1 after that, then got destroyed by a bot in my next match. Next match NTO'd before I could even run a play.      They said they were going to change the matchmaking algorithm, I think to allow new players an easy path to the top. Even the totals in the top 100 look lower this season than most.

There is a need to look at this program from a different angle.  Have patience or spend gems/cash.  I really see no way around that.  (This appears intentional as they are top players with high power).  The good side, you can get 2 banners per day.   There is nothing else going at the moment so what you are doing is creating a savings account so to speak. If we play all our stamina each day and stick all the parts into a set to save them we will have them for the future. All we will need to do in the future is exchange extra badges and shields to make our 2 banners. When the next promo starts you will no longer need to spend stamina on UL as you will have the pieces saved from today to continue exchanging and building banners. It really is not a grind today get rewarded today program, it is more of an investment for the future.

I have used all stamina on UL events, completed the upgrade to onyx with the 500 gem pack before my first play.  Going to continue to use all stamina and store everything in the sets for now. The only trade in I have done is the banner set 2x per day. I will have everything earned and can change course later if needed but for now there is nothing better to spend stamina on. Play and save.     I think my plan will be to obtain enough of each item for 2 players then decide who to get. I would hate to have them drop something crazy like a 98-99 speed Chris Johnson next weekend and not be ready.
