XFL Power Rankings: Week 2
- DC Defenders(2-0)-This team is the favorite to win it all after two weeks. They have the most balanced team with a strong defense and explosive offense. Cardale Jones continued to impress and looks like the real deal. The offense just tore through the supposed best defense in the league without much resistance. A negative note for the team is that despite how good they are at moving the ball, once they get into the redzone they really start to struggle.
- Houston Roughnecks(2-0; +1)-PJ Walker. You could just leave it at that. Hands down the MVP so far. His play has been electric and it has made the Roughnecks offense a force to be reckoned with. The defense leaves something to be desired but Walker will take this team far.
- St. Louis Battlehawks(1-1; +3)-I slept on this team after week 1. The rush offense looked good but overall they didn't seem impressive. After two weeks of solid, if unimpressive football, they've shown they can compete. They just barely lost to the MVP front runner this week. The defense gave up 28 but considering who they were playing, I can't fault them to much.
