Did this for the AAF (#TakeAim) so thought I'd do it for the XFL as well.
DC Defenders-This team has the most talented roster and they played like it. Cardale Jones is an early MVP frontrunner and made plays with his arm and legs. Running game left some to be desired but the stable they have is the best in the league. Defense gave up some plays but made plays as well. Overall, this is the most balanced team.
NY Guardians-The offense didnt give a convincing performance but they played well enough. Mekale McKay was one of the best offensive players in the AAF and he looks just as explosive in the XFL. The defense is what makes the Guardians legit. 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions. The defense could take them all the way.
Houston Roughnecks-PJ Walker is the front runner for MVP. 272 passing yards and 4 passing TDs as well as 26 rushing yards. The offense is the focal point of the team. The defense played well but how much of that can be attributed to their talent as opposed to their opponent missing the #1 pick of the XFL.
