Starting to Feel Like There is No Incentive to Improve Teams Past 90 or So
I grind and spend to have a good team in hopes it might help compensate for deteriorating old guy reflexes and my absolute disinterest in earning a Masters degree in Madden by spending hours on YouTube and labbing to counter the bull you run into in H2H. 97/97/97 team, no holes solid top to bottom other than the fact I run 97 Brees not one of these 90 speed bums so I can cheese run all day.
This weekend has just been max frustration, seasons, WL, both. WL is nearly all similar God Squads 75% of the time run by guys that have invested the time in mastering the usuals, the roll out corner route, the QB scramble, the zone wide runs. Seasons it seems even hitting obviously inferior teams I encounter bull, like the best OL MUT puts out getting blockshed to death by sub 90 defenders, my 99 TE or my 98 Calvin not getting separation from 90 DB's. After literally dozens of games it just feels like the players aren't playing CLOSE to stats.
I committed to making this my final MUT for a long list of reasons. But EA is making it very easy when the basic principle of MUT - team building - feels like a complete charade.
