Peppers 3-4 LE? Reviews can he stop the run?

I see he’s a great pass rusher and I have seen some good reviews on him but my question is in a 3-4 you need big heavy guys who can stop the run.

• is peppers getting eaten up on run plays due to his weight and blockshead?  
• should I stick with Reggie white?otherwise I might pick him up, that speed and FMV look great.
