Tram MVPs came out about this time last year. Do you think that the Theme Diamonds 2 replaces that program for this year?
Who knows with this whole phased approach to promo's this year... Just be happy we didnt have a new currency with the last couple promos!!! That's always the icing on the cake to me of a terrible promo...
Shit I really hope they bring that back. Easily my favorite for obvious reasons

All teams got them but they released these in phases the playoffs teams got them last

Non playoff teams MVP’s were released at launch of that promo and playoff teams were released after, maybe a week after I don’t remember exactly

Team MVP Feb 15th last year
Theme Diamonds 2 looks a lot like a watered down version of last year's MVP program. It was the same thing last year for MVPs where you had to put not only team specific elite cards into the set, but Team Builders cards and tokens to get the MVP cards.
Looks like there may be no Team Builders cards to boost team chemistry this time, which is too bad. There were some high elites that could start on theme teams and tons of Team Builder elites that added chems to back up positions. The MVP cards were 97 OVR too. These are all 95 OVRs.
Many Theme Diamond cards looked obsolete on release. Maybe you can power them up and slide them into start on a 50/50 theme team, but outside of that, they just don't look that good.
EA does get credit for going into the vault and bringing out some fan favorites who have been out of Madden for years though. It's a mixed bag.

Loved the Team MVP promo last year but every Titan fan can agree Tannehill was great but Henry was the MVP. EA already had the card made for a 97. If Tannehill isnt a 97 then this is the biggest snub for a player. He won an award that has been a MUT card every year. Henry better get a 98+ card in the next couple months too for that piss poor attempt at a 95 card that was LTD.
