What a weekend. Wheeling, dealing, buying, selling, adding, subtracting...
As the smoke clears, the JCSteel Squad says farewell to DT John Randle, WR Antwaan Randle El (at least as a top three WR), and ROLB Lawrence Taylor. The additions? Two 99 Overall players, two 98 Overall players, including two with 99 Speed. As we Steelers fans say, #HereWeGo
Let’s start with the Steelers’ Theme Diamonds 2 player, ROLB Joey Porter. On my squad, chemmed out of his mind, he’s a monster. The 96/91 Power/Finesse Moves is deadly, and his high Block Shed/Impact Block make him a solid player against the run as well. All-around great player even without Abilities.
Now let’s look at the curiously cheap and no-doubt best DT in the game. Are you kidding me? 98 Block Shed, 97/96 Power/Finesse Move, and 84 Speed with 93 Acceleration? Ridiculous. He’s shown up BIG in both WL games I’ve played with him, shedding & pursuing like a madman.
