There is mis-information floating around about Madden 21 and the new generation of consoles. This is important.
In generations past, EA would always debut a BAD Madden game for a new console generation, and then improve on it year after year. With respect to the last game of a given generation, you tended to have the same game as the prior year with just a bit more polish.
This generation is going to be unprecedented with respect to consoles. ALL console gamers should be aware of what is changing with this up-coming generation of consoles. This matters whether you play Madden, or any other game(s).
Sony and Microsoft are making their PS4 and Xbox one libraries backwards compatible on their new hardware. That by itself does not mean much, but it's different this time
The saves that you have on your current hardware is supposed to work on the new hardware as well. This is huge and has a lot of implications BEYOND backwards compatibility. One of which being that MS and Sony are taking a more PC-oriented approach moving forward. But it gets better. They want games to have crossplay between generations.
