Can we just call these dropped passes a fumble?

You all have had it happen, I’m sure. You hit an open receiver. What seems like two full seconds goes by and three steps and then the safety/CB/LB gives a gentle push, and your receiver falls to the ground and drops the ball and the game calls it incomplete. It’s not. It’s a fumble. No, I don’t want to fumble the ball, but I also do not think I should have to possession catch open routes because of contact that will come after the catch. Not the same as a good LB or safety putting a big hit on, those I understand. I’m talking about normal football actions with 90-96 OVR tight ends and receivers and they can’t maintain possession somehow after literally having the ball in their hands all the way to the ground.  Sometimes I don’t even realize it was incomplete until the games shows the next down isn’t what I expected.

There’s my rant.

Dropped balls happen much less if you always user your receiver and anytime there are defenders near you use possession catch. Possession catch is OP if your good at usering receivers.

Oh, wow. I’ve never had the reverse touchback happen to me. I gotta lookout for this one.

Which is an incomplete pass. Somehow, the coding seems backwards on these.

😂😂😂 I mean a little bit, right? Just enough that what my eyes are showing me match up with the rules of football.
