Like most players, I havent done a lot of Madden Today events recently with Super Bowl and TOTY getting most of my stamina. But I did the TOTW events today and was shocked to see the "Playoff rewind pack" pop up.
For me, Playoffs was the most disappointing promo of the year in terms of communication, or lack there of, on EAs part.
-The Initial sudden disappearance of the playoff blitz event after less than 1 full day of it being live, followed by the subsequent "radio silence" on EAs part before finally bringing it back about a week later.
-The sudden disappearance of the Blitz event a second time without warning that it was ending.
I asked Messina in several general question threads about any idea of when the event was ending or the sets ending, and the question was just ignored multiple times.
This wasn't a very popular promo, and most that did it picked the players they wanted, got them, and moved on. I chose to use a little stamina here and there and slowly build a master during the Superbowl promo, thinking if I had to devote a little extra stamina one day because the events were ending, I could. When the event disappeared, and EA ignored all questions about it, I eventually cut my losses, and recycled a ton of playoff collectibles to clear bench space with TOTY occupying so much of it.
