A few years back I had 2 friends get ahold of me a couple days apart and ask me how I had such a great Madden team at the time. I had all the bells and whistles. I gave them advice to buy 79 gold qb's that could be purchased all day in the auction house BIN for 3-5k. Repost them 5 at a time every 5 minutes for 15-20k. Biggest Target time was between 630am and 930am est and 2pm-5pm est. I was met with huge resistance from them saying "that will never work why would anyone spend 20k on a player that they could buy all day for 3k?" I explained that every day new players come on and play. When you first started playing did you over pay in the auction house before you realized? The answer was yes. The target times were set up to catch kids before and after school. The 3 of us sold THOUSANDS of 79 gold qb's that year (right up till they flooded the market with Easter Tony Romo) I was selling between 75-100 a day. They were right around 50.
Moral of this story is a lot of members in here have come to think that we are the only ones playing this game. That WE are 90% of the target market. When in reality I bet we make up less than 5% if we even come close to that. We feel like we have become entitled when in reality we are just a blip. There are thousands of new players to this game every day.
